In Bakhmut, Donetsk region, units of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service repelled yet another wave of Russian attacks, shooting down four enemy unmanned aerial vehicles using anti-drone guns.
That’s according to the border guards’ press service, Ukrinform reports.
Russian attacks were repelled by mortar fire by Ukraine’s border guards in conjunction with aerial reconnaissance forces. The SBGSU says the invaders were forced to retreat, suffering losses.
Over another defense position, Ukrainian forces spotted two Russian drones. Both were disabled by anti-drone guns.
"The same fate befell another enemy unmanned ‘couple’ during their attempted approach in the night hours," press service noted.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, 15 firefights with Russian troops took place in the Bakhmut direction within the past 24 hours. Defense forces eliminated 165 invaders, wounding another 216.
