Russians shell three districts of Kharkiv region overnight, four injured
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Yesterday, the Russian occupiers fired on the settlements of Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and the Kharkiv districts," he wrote.
Syniehubov said that the shelling of Velykyi Burluk village in the Kupiansk district by multiple rocket launchers damaged trade pavilions at the local market and at least seven private houses. An administrative building and an educational institution were also damaged, and public transportation was affected. A 16-year-old girl and women aged 43 and 62 were hospitalized with moderate injuries.
In Vovchansk, a private residential building was destroyed by artillery shelling. Rescuers pulled out an 88-year-old woman from the rubble. She was injured and hospitalized.
Syniehubov reminds that the danger of mines remains high in the region. Thus, on Thursday, May 11, at about 15:30, a tractor exploded on an unknown explosive device near the village of Turove, Bohodukhiv district. No one was injured.
As Ukrinform earlier reported, on May 10, the Russian troops shelled settlements in three districts of the Kharkiv region and killed one person.
