Russian forces shell Kherson region 90 times over past day, injuring six civilians
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Over the past day, the enemy launched 90 attacks, firing 434 projectiles from heavy artillery, Grad [MLRS], tanks, automatic grenade launchers, UAVs and aircraft," he wrote.
According to the regional governor, the Russian army shelled Kherson city twice.
"Russian soldiers targeted residential quarters of the region’s populated areas; the buildings of an educational institution and a critical infrastructure facility in Beryslav district,” Prokudin wrote.
Six people were injured by Russia’s strikes.
Prokudin added that 70 more people were evacuated from the liberated territory of the region.
As reported by Ukrinform, three civilians were injured as the Russian army shelled four settlements in Kherson region on May 12.
