Russian army shells 20 settlements in Kharkiv region overnight
The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the last day, the enemy fired at least 20 settlements in the region's Kharkiv, Kupiansk and Chuhuiv districts, using cannon and rocket artillery, mortars, aircraft, and missile weapons," Syniehubov stressed.
According to Syniehubov, in the areas of Masiutivka, Kyslivka and Pershotravneve, the invaders used combat aircraft.
According to the head of the Military Administration, last night the enemy launched a missile attack, according to preliminary data, from the S-300 system, on the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv district. The missile hit the ground. Preliminarily, there were no casualties or large-scale destruction. A private car was damaged.
As a result of two shellings in Novoosynove village, Kup district, forest fires broke out.
According to Syniehubov, demining works are ongoing in Kharkiv region. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than 8 hectares of territory and neutralized 205 explosive devices.
As Ukrinform reported, the Russian army has intensified shelling of the border regions of Ukraine - Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy attacks communities daily with various types of weapons.
