Explosions take place near airport in temporarily occupied Mariupol

On the evening of May 19, 2023, several explosions rocked the Donetsk region’s temporarily occupied city of Mariupol, namely the area close to the airport.
The relevant statement was made by Advisor to Mariupol Mayor Petro Andriushchenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Earlier, Andriushchenko also posted a video, showing an explosion near the so-called Nevsky housing complex, which had recently been built by Russian occupiers.
Local Telegram channels also confirmed the blasts taking place in the city.
A reminder that Russians were reported to have been actively using aviation over the temporarily occupied city of Mariupol and its outskirts.
