Three civilians injured as Russian forces shell enterprise in Kupiansk
The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"On May 20, about 18:10, the Russian military once again shelled the city of Kupiansk. According to preliminary information, Grad MLRS were used... As a result of the shelling, an area of 300 square meters was ignited on the territory of a local enterprise,” the report says.
Around 19:00, the Russian forces shelled Kupiansk. According to preliminary information, they used artillery. "Two women, aged 61 and 69, and a 44-year-old man were injured," the prosecutor's office said.
A pre-trial investigation into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.
As reported, the Russian forces attacked nine regions of Ukraine on May 20.
