Ukrainian defenders down two Shahed drones in Mykolaiv region

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On the night of May 23, 2023, the South Air Command’s air defense forces and units destroyed two enemy Shahed-136/131 unmanned combat aerial vehicles in the Mykolaiv region,” Kim noted.

At 04:00 p.m., May 22, 2023, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on the Ochakiv community’s water area. No casualties or damage to infrastructure were reported.

A reminder that, according to the data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine’s territory with four drones last night. All of them were downed by the Ukrainian military.
