One killed, five injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

One civilian has been killed and five injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.
The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“On May 22, 2023, Russians killed one civilian in the Donetsk region, namely in New York. Five more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.
Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.
A reminder that, on May 22, 2023, Russian troops launched 20 missiles strikes and 48 air strikes, and opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 90 times.
