Russian army launches missile attack on Tsyrkuny in Kharkiv region at night
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"Last night, the Russian occupiers launched a missile attack on the village of Tsyrkuny, in the Kharkiv district. The missile, preliminary, S-300, hit the ground. A private house located nearby was damaged. Fortunately, no one was injured," he stressed.
According to Sinegubov, over the past 24 hours, on 24 May, Russian troops shelled settlements in Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Bohodukhiv and Chuhuiv districts of the Kharkiv region.
The shelling of Kupyansk damaged a kindergarten, two 5-storey residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.
According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, UAV struck a private house in Ploske village of the Kupyansky district, destroying two outbuildings and agricultural machinery of an agricultural enterprise, and damaging a school building.
In addition, in the village of Kucherivka, Kupyansk district, a fire broke out in two warehouses and damaged a woodworking shop as a result of hostile shelling.
In the village of Odnorobivka, Bohodukhiv district, a civilian infrastructure facility was damaged by a strike, which is believed to have been an aerial bomb.
In Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district, shelling damaged a kindergarten and three private residential buildings.
According to Sinegubov, the danger of mines remains high in the region. In the village of Oleksandrivka, Izyum district, a 33-year-old man tripped an explosive device and was hospitalised with an injury.
According to the head of the RMA, demining operations are ongoing in the region. Over the past day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service examined more than eight hectares of territory and defused 139 explosive devices.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on 23 May, the Russian army attacked three districts of the Kharkiv region, causing damage and civilian casualties.
