Kyiv protected by highest-end air defense systems - Mayor Klitschko
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko told reporters about this on the sidelines of the Kyiv Security Forum, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"We are protected by all types of weapons. I can’t name them as this is a question to the military but I can say that Kyivans are protected by the most modern air defense systems. Based on the outcome of all the strikes, you can see that the city is much better protected than it was a few months ago," Klitschko emphasized.
He noted that Ukrainian air defenses even shot down the Kinzhal missiles, of which the Russians are so proud.
The mayor added that there were no victims in the latest Russian strikes on the capital but several people were injured.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, overnight Thursday, Ukrainian air defense destroyed all enemy Shahed kamikaze drones launched at the capital city of Kyiv.
