On the outskirts of the Donetsk region’s Bakhmut, Ukrainian servicemen have destroyed Russia’s Grad multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) with the Army of Drones’ unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs).

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science and Technology Development - Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russians have lost one Grad [MLRS] on the outskirts of Bakhmut. This is the result of the effective work of special forces with two powerful Pegasus loitering munitions as part of the Army of Drones project,” Fedorov wrote.

Having shelled the positions of Ukrainian forces, Russian invaders attempted to flee from the scene and hide. But, it is difficult to do so, when the Pegasus drones are in action, according to Fedorov.

“One ‘bird’ hit the running gear and stopped the Grad MLRS, and the other finished it off,” Fedorov explained.

In his words, thanks to the Army of Drones project, Ukraine will soon have even more UAVs. Fedorov called for donating to this project via the United24 platform or the Diia mobile app.
