Zaluzhnyi, Milley discuss supply of long-range ammunition to Ukraine
Zaluzhnyi announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“I had a phone call with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley. The main focus was on the supplies of weapons, military equipment and ammunition. Among the priority needs are long-range ammunition," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces noted.
He also told Milley about the situation along the whole front line and further plans of the Armed Forces to liberate Ukrainian territory.
In addition, Zaluzhnyi told the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff about latest Russian massive attacks with cruise and ballistic missiles, strikes with drones and guided aerial bombs.
Zaluzhnyi emphasized that it is important to work on strengthening Ukraine's air defense through additional systems and F-16 fighter jets.
"We agreed to continue the dialogue. Thank you General Milley for continued and unwavering support for Ukraine," the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.
