Night attack on Kyiv: Air defense forces shoot down all aerial targets

"The first day of summer. Children's Day. And the ruscists launch another attack on the capital and kill again! They kill Ukrainian children. In this attack, the aggressor used operational-tactical ground-based missile systems. That is why missiles were fired at Kyiv not from aircraft. According to preliminary information, those were cruise missiles and ballistic missiles (the final number and type of weapons will be determined by the Air Force)," said Serhiy Popko, Head of the Kyiv City Military Administration.

According to available information, all detected aerial targets were destroyed by the air defense forces and means.

Unfortunately, falling fragments caused casualties and destruction. In Desnianskyi district of the capital, fragments fell on a polyclinic and an adjacent apartment block. As a result, three people, including two children, were killed.

In Dniprovskyi district, a residential building was damaged by fragments, parked cars caught fire, fragments also fell on the roadway. People were injured. All of them were provided with medical assistance.

In addition, a hot water supply pipeline was damaged in Dniprovskyi district. The emergency team went to the scene.
