Russian forces hit Zaporizhzhia region 78 times in past day

Yuriy Malashko, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said this during the nationwide news telethon on Ukrainian TV channels, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the course of the past day, the enemy launched 78 attacks on 20 populated areas. An airstrike on Orikhiv was recorded, as well as UAV attacks on Olhyne, MLRS attacks on Komyshuvakha and Zaliznychne, in addition, there were 70 artillery strikes," he said.

There were 23 reports of destroyed and damaged houses. People were no injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of June 1, seven Iskander-M and three Iskander-K missiles launched by Russia from the north were destroyed over Kyiv.
