Russians hit Nikopol with heavy artillery fire

The Russian army shelled the city of Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, with heavy artillery fire overnight.
Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"The aggressor does not stop. Nikopol district is under attack again. At midnight, the rashists shelled Nikopol. Shells from heavy artillery flew into the city," the post reads.
Lysak added that according to preliminary information, no one was hurt. Rescuers are examining the area.
Earlier reports said that Russian aggressors had used 15 cruise missiles and 18 Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones to attack Ukraine overnight, with all of the targets destroyed by Ukraine's air defense forces.
