Stefanchuk calls for support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic future at NATO Parliamentary Speakers' Summit

At the Summit of NATO Parliament Speakers, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Ruslan Stefanchuk called for support for Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic future.

Stefanchuk wrote about this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"I am glad to be among the friends of Ukraine. Today the Summit of NATO Parliament Speakers has started in Vilnius. Delegations of NATO parliaments, the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, and NATO representatives are here," the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada said.

According to him, this is an important discussion at the parliamentary level that precedes the NATO Summit in Vilnius.

"Because it is the parliaments that can give a clear signal about Ukraine's membership in NATO before the Summit in July. A number of parliaments have adopted such statements! Today, I call on every parliament of NATO member states to support our Euro-Atlantic future," Stefanchuk said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the NATO Summit of Heads of State and Government will take place in July in Vilnius.
