Intelligence considers rebellion in Russia possible

One of the scenarios for the events inside Russia could be a rebellion or military confrontation.

A representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine Andriy Yusov said this according to the statement published on the DIU website, Ukrinform reports.

"As a result of the successful actions of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine and the de-occupation of our territories, internal conflicts within the Moscow region are possible," he said.

According to Yusov, this scenario could also be caused by the successful actions of Russian rebels.

According to the representative of the DIU, the operation of the "Russian Volunteer Corps" and the "Freedom of Russia" Legion is still ongoing. On the territory of the Russian Federation, there are now mostly "pot-bellied traffic policemen".

"The king was naked. Everything combat-ready that can move has been transferred to the occupation of Ukraine," Yusov noted.

He added that fighting armed insurgents is not within the competence of the "traffic police" summoned by Russian President Vladimir Putin to the border as part of the "Edelweiss" plan, as they are mostly trained to beat peaceful protesters with batons and take bribes from pensioners.

"That is why it is so unsuccessful. That's why we have to use artillery and Grad missiles to bomb and destroy the civilian houses of Muscovites themselves. All this is happening live, the whole world is watching," the intelligence representative summarized.

As Ukrinform reported, according to the Institute for the Study of War, Russia is growing anxious about the events in the Belgorod region.
