Situation in Bakhmut relatively stable, southwestern suburbs controlled by Ukrainian forces

In the Donetsk region’s Bakhmut, the situation is relatively stable. Ukraine’s Defense Forces are maintaining control over the southwestern suburbs of the city.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Maliar, Russian invaders attempted to recapture their lost positions in the Bakhmut direction but failed.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Wagner mercenaries have not fully left Bakhmut yet. As of today, they are giving instructions to the Russian regular army units that have arrived there.
