Ukraine’s Air Force launches 11 strikes on Russian invaders

This is stated in the report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00, June 3, published on Facebook.

"During the day, the aircraft of the defense forces launched 11 strikes on personnel clusters. Our defenders destroyed three enemy reconnaissance UAVs. Missile and artillery units hit a command post, an anti-aircraft missile system, and three ammunition depots during the day," the report reads.

The General Staff notes that the Russian Federation, despite significant losses, continues to wage a war of aggression and does not abandon its plans to seize the territory of Ukraine.

"The enemy continues to disregard the laws and customs of war, uses terror tactics, strikes, and fires at both military and civilian objects," the report reads.

In total, during the day, the enemy launched 19 airstrikes and more than 10 MLRS attacks.

"The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts to completely occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions. During the day, the occupiers carried out 16 attacks, but all of them were repelled by the units of the defense forces," the General Staff informs.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been detected.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. The Russians launched an airstrike on the area of Hatyshche in Kharkiv region.

The invaders fired mortars and artillery at Hremyach, Hay in Chernihiv region; Atynske, Oleksandrivka, Yunakivka, Mohrytsia, Stepok, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region; Ivashky, Udy, Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Hoptivka, Vysoka Yaruha, Pylna, Zelene, Vesele, Starytsia, Okhirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Bochkove, Budarky, Chuhunivka in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk direction, the Russians carried out unsuccessful offensive operations near Novoselivske, Luhansk region, during the day. An airstrike was launched in the area of Serhiyivka, Donetsk region. Masiutivka, Lyman Pershyi, Kyslivka, Tabayivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region; Novoselivske in Luhansk region came under artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, the aggressor carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Spirne in Donetsk region. The Russians launched airstrikes on the areas of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Siversk in Donetsk region. The areas of settlements bordering the contact line – Makiyivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Verkhniokamyanske, Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region – came under artillery fire.

In Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations near Ivanivske, had no success. Airstrikes were launched near Kurdiumivka and Bila Hora in Donetsk region. Areas of settlements of Vasiukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Slovyansk, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, Bila Hora, New York, and Shevchenko in Donetsk region came under artillery fire.

In Avdiyivka direction, Russian troops did not conduct offensive operations. Airstrikes were launched in the area of Avdiyivka, Donetsk region. Avdiyivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, and Karlivka settlements in Donetsk region were struck with artillery.

In Maryinka direction, the enemy carried out offensive operations near Maryinka, but the Ukrainian defenders repelled all nine attacks. The enemy also had unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Oleksandrivka, Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy continues to destroy cities and villages, launched an airstrike on Maryinka, fired artillery at Maksymilyanivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Antonivka, Katerynivka, and Yantarne in Donetsk region.

In Shakhtarske direction, the enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Prechystivka in Donetsk region. Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Novoukrayinka in Donetsk region were hit.

The aggressor continues to hold the defense in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions. The Russians launched airstrikes in the areas of Poltavka and Huliaypole in Zaporizhzhia region. Vremivka, Zelene Pole in Donetsk region; Burlatske, Malynivka, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, Kamyanske, Lukyanivske, Komyshuvakha in Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Zmiyivka, Beryslav, Burhunka, Ivanivka, Dachi, Zymivnyk, Bilozerka, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Kherson in Kherson region came under enemy artillery fire.

The General Staff reports that Russian troops continue to put pressure on Ukrainian citizens and violate human rights in the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, in Henichesk, Kherson region, citizens of Ukraine with a pro-Ukrainian position are forcibly held in the basements of the premises of the former tax service.

At the same time, the Russian aggressors continue to use the infrastructure of temporarily captured settlements to provide medical care to their wounded soldiers. Recently, in the settlement of Skadovsk, Kherson region, the Russians set up a field hospital in a kindergarten, where more than 50 invaders are treated.
