At night, Russians shell car park near airport, the center of Kharkiv
Ihor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"As for the night shelling. One 'arrival' was at the car park near the airport. The second one was on one of the city's central streets, Rymarska," he noted.
According to Terekhov, there are no military facilities on Rymarska Street, only a school, a theater, and office, residential buildings. The rocket hit the road, cut off the water supply, smashed windows in the surrounding houses, and damaged five cars.
Regarding the situation with the ammonia gas pipeline, the mayor said that the State Emergency Service had checked the content of this gas in the air of Kupyansk - everything was within normal limits. So neither Kupyansk nor Kharkiv has anything to worry about.
As reported, at least three explosions occurred in Kharkiv late in the evening on 5 June. Later it became known that Russia had struck the Shevchenkivsky and Slobodsky districts of the city.
