As reported, the Russian army blew up the Kakhovka HPP dam on the night of June 6. Rescue operations and measures to evacuate people from flood areas continue in the danger zone in Kherson region.
The situation remains particularly dramatic in the temporarily occupied territories, where the Russians left the civilian population without any help, while access for Ukrainian rescue services to these people is extremely difficult or impossible.
President Volodymyr Zelensky informed that access to drinking water has been hampered for hundreds of thousands of people following the Kakhovka HPP explosion.
