General Serhiy Nayev, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, said that over the past week, more than five thousand meters of trenches and more than two and a half kilometers of anti-tank ditch have been dug along the state border. "Scheduled mining of the area continues in the border area. In particular, more than 8 thousand mines have been used. More than 60 firing positions, 120 shelters for personnel, and more than 150 shelters for vehicles and armored vehicles have been set up," said Nayev.
According to the commander, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are constantly working to increase their defense capabilities, and this process will continue.
