Number of injured in attack on Kherson rises to 23, including three children

In Kherson, 23 people, including three children, were injured in the shelling on June 16.

"The Russian terrorist army hit Kherson with a massive fire. Twenty-three people were injured," Head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak posted on Telegram.

According to Yermak, the attacks were launched on Tavriysky microdistrict, Korabel district, and the central part of the city. As a result of the shelling, a healthcare facility, a kindergarten, a supermarket, residential buildings, cars, and power lines were damaged.

"Three children are among the injured. All the injured were hospitalized. Three people are in serious condition, all the others received injuries of moderate or minor severity," he added.

Shelter saved the lives of many people, Yermak noted.

As Volodymyr Litvinov, Head of the Beryslav District Military Administration, reported, the enemy shelled the village of Shliakhove. "Russian army struck a residential building, damaging the building and outbuildings. One person was injured," the post reads.

In Kherson region, in the afternoon of June 16, the Russian military shelled the village of Bilozerka. Nobody was injured.
