Man killed in Russia’s shelling of Nikopol

A man was killed and a woman was injured as the Russian forces shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region.
Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"An 81-year-old man was killed in the latest shelling of Nikopol. A 78-year-old woman was injured. She has a shrapnel wound," he wrote.
Rescuers are working at the scene of the attack.
Earlier it was reported about two enemy attacks on Nikopol throughout the day. The Russian strikes damaged 17 private residential buildings, 16 commercial buildings, 3 gas pipelines and a power line.
