Ukrainian forces launch 14 air strikes on Russian troop concentration areas

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the last 24 hours, [Ukrainian] rocket and artillery units hit three command posts, two personnel concentration areas, five ammunition depots, and three artillery units in firing positions," the military said.

In total, over the past day, the enemy launched 43 air strikes, 4 missile strikes, and mounted 51 attacks using MLRS against the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

The probability of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka areas, with 26 combat engagements recorded there over the past day.

In the Volyn and Polissia areas, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna areas, the enemy carried out an air strike on Yanzhulivka, Chernihiv region. The enemy fired mortars and artillery on the settlements of Kliusy, Yanzhulivka, Kostobobriv, Halaganivka, Hremiach in the Chernihiv region, Chuikivka, Bachivsk, Svarkove, Atynske, Starykove, Boiaro-Lezhachi, Stari Vyrky, Sosnivka, Iskrystivshchyna, Volfyne, Basivka, Myropillia, Stepok, Krasnopillia, Novodmytrivka, Velyka Pysarivka, Ponomarenky in the Sumy region, as well as Huriv Kozachok, Udy, Krasnova Zoria, Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Pletenivka, Vovchanski Khutory, Pokaliane, Okhrymivka, Kruhle, Budarka, Zemlianky, Loshakove, Potykhonove and Komisarove in the Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk area, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Novoselivske, Luhansk region, and Berestove, Kharkiv region. The settlements of Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamianka, Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region and Novoselivske in the Luhansk region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman area, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region. The settlements of Stelmakhivka, Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Rozdolivka, Spirne and Serebrianka in the Donetsk region came under artillery shelling.

In the Bakhmut area, areas of the settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozarianivka, Bila Hora, Kostiantynivka, and Pivdenne in the Donetsk region were hit by enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka area, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Stepove and Avdiivka. The enemy launched air strikes outside Sukha Balka and Avdiivka. The enemy fired artillery on the settlements of Stepove, Tonenke, Pervomaiske, Avdiivka, Vesele and Karlivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Marinka area, Ukrainian defenders repelled all enemy attacks in the area of the city of Marinka. The enemy launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Maksymilianivka and Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtarske area, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka and Vodiane, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out air strikes near Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne and Vuhledar. The settlements of Shakhtarske, Prechystivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Storozheve, Novosilka, and Novopil in the Donetsk region came under fire.

The enemy remains on the defensive in the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson areas. The enemy launched an air strike near Mala Tokmachka in the Zaporizhzhia region and Havrylivka, Kozatske and Komyshany in the Kherson region. The enemy carried out artillery shelling of the settlements of Olhivske, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Novodarivka, Levadne, Malynivka, Chervone, Novoandriivka, Stepove, Lobkove, Stepnohirsk and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region, Nikopol in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Mykhailivka, Novodmytrivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Shliakhove, Beryslav, Vesele, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Burhunka, Olhivka, Tiahynka, Novotiahynka, Poniativka, Sadove, Molodizhne, Antonivka, Kherson, Chornobaivka, Romashkove, Dniprovske, Berehove, Veletenske, Kizomys and Sofiivka in the Kherson region and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.

In the temporarily captured territories of the Luhansk region, Russian deserters are fleeing the front. The search for a group of Russian deserters from among the mobilized was recorded in a forest near the settlement of Novorozsosh. Russian Guard units are involved in the search.
