In Russia, political crisis has always been inevitable - Ukraine’s deputy defense minister

The political crisis in the Russian Federation has long been foreseeable and ultimately inevitable.

That’s according to the Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Hanna Maliar, who commented on the latest developments in Russia via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

According to the senior defense official, the imperial campaign aimed to gain more lands cannot stop the domestic problems in Russia, only exacerbating what is already happening.

"No matter what state they build, they always get a Gulag that sooner or later rebels and destroys it," Maliar stressed.

The deputy minister emphasized that the war on Ukraine showed Russia’s weakest link, which is fear of the truth. “All their decisions are based on lies,” she stressed.

"They always created ‘castles in the air’ for their czar and believed in them themselves. This is such an imperial feature – to inflate their greatness and overestimate themselves," said Maliar.

According to her, "this led them to a completely inadequate decision – to start a war with Ukraine without systematic and true calculations of their capabilities. Only ambition and pride."

"The cost of this erroneous decision is the fate of Russia itself. They are fighting with us, but they are destroying themselves," Maliar emphasized.

According to her, from a global perspective, as an evolutionary process, an unsustainable system has launched a program of self-destruction. "There is no major conspiracy theory in this. These are natural processes," Maliar added.

"In this form, they will destroy themselves as a state, and we will naturally win, because we are evolutionarily ready to move forward. We are a nation that is now creating a new type of culture before the eyes of the whole world. Before us, culture always lost to barbarism. And we are proving that it is possible to be strong, defend yourself, and remain civilized," the official stressed.

Maliar also emphasized that the future belongs to Ukraine, and that the past is with Russia. She added that the events that are unfolding in Russia should be regarded as the inevitable degradation of the Russian state.

In her opinion, this means a window of opportunity for Ukraine, and Ukrainians should be cautious about this and prepare for any scenarios.

"That's why we don't relax. Let's continue our work to get stronger and prevail," Maliar said, addressing the Ukrainians.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the morning of June 24, tensions between Wagner Group and Russia’s defense ministry spilled into a full-on military confrontation. Wagner’s units have seized administrative and military headquarters in Rostov before moving to seize Voronezh on their declared path to reach Moscow.

President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the mutiny of the "Wagner" PMC against the Russian authorities and stated that the weakness of the Russian Federation is currently obvious. According to him, Ukraine is able to protect Europe from the spread of Russian evil and chaos.
