The Eastern Grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has launched the offensive in several directions at once.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Deputy Minister Hanna Maliar on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today, the Eastern Grouping has launched the offensive in several directions at once: towards Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Yahidne, Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka,” Maliar wrote.

In her words, the Ukrainian military are advancing in all of the above directions.

In the Kupiansk, Lyman and Marinka directions, Russian invaders made attempts to advance but failed.

In the Avdiivka and Shakhtarske directions, Russian troops launched air and artillery strikes.

Fierce battles are raging across all offensive directions in southern Ukraine. Russian occupiers are holding defense and making efforts to stop Ukraine’s counteroffensive actions.

“At the same time, the enemy is suffering significant losses in terms of personnel, ammunition and military equipment,” Maliar noted.

A reminder that, over the past day, Russian troops have been focusing efforts on the Lyman, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. Over 10 military clashes were recorded there.
