Russians attack suburbs of Zaporizhzhia

On the night of June 25, 2023, Russian troops attacked the suburbs of the city of Zaporizhzhia.

The relevant statement was made by Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Head Yurii Malashko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the enemy attacked the suburbs of the regional center. The open areas were hit, as well as a local enterprise. Fortunately, people remained unharmed. The trucks parked and the buildings nearby were seriously damaged,” Malashko wrote.

Zaporizhzhia Acting Mayor Anatolii Kurtiev added that, on the morning of June 25, 2023, the situation in Zaporizhzhia was stable.

“People and residential houses remained unharmed. All public utility systems are fine. Municipal services are working as scheduled,” Kurtiev noted.

In general, over the past day, Russian invaders have opened fire on 23 settlements 71 times. The enemy attacked Olhivske and Plavni with unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Temyrivka and Levadne with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and launched 65 artillery strikes on Orikhiv, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Novodarivka, Piatykhatky, and other frontline villages.

Fifteen residential buildings were reported destroyed. Two civilians, an 85-year-old woman from Preobrazhenka and a 77-year-old woman from Novodanylivka, were injured.
