POW complains about poor supplies to Russian invasion army
The corresponding video was uploaded on Telegram by Ground Forces Commander Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Ukrinform reports.
"We used to starve while bleeding out," this is how a prisoner of war from the 269th separate rifle battalion, Oleksandr Golovko, 42, of Horlivka, spoke about poor supplies to their unit, as well as how soldiers are forced to buy things from their senior officers," Sirskyi said.
The POW said mass bribery is flourishing among the Russian forces, as well as reported a large number of casualties, "hundreds of whom died at their positions due to poorly organized medevac and lack of medical supplies."
In particular, in his company, out of 96 people, under 20 soldiers remained in the ranks.
Meanwhile, “our defense forces continue their work," Syrskyi emphasized.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, from February 24, 2022 to June 25, 2023, Ukraine’s Defense Forces eliminated 224,630 Russian invaders, including 720 in the past day alone.
