Ukraine forces strike three Russian artillery systems, command post within 24 hours

That’s according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.

"Our rocket and artillery units hit a Russian command and control post, three manpower and equipment clusters, an ammunition depot, an electronic warfare station, and three enemy artillery systems in firing positions," the statement reads.

In addition, the Ukrainian Air Force conducted six strikes on enemy manpower and equipment clusters. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed an operational-tactical reconnaissance drone.

The General Staff emphasizes that the Russian Federation continues to kill civilians in Ukraine, ignoring the laws and customs of war, employing terror tactics.

On Sunday, the Russians launched six S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles against civilian objects in the Zaporizhzhia region. In addition, the enemy carried out 25 airstrikes and more than 30 attacks involving multiple rocket launchers on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas.

Further missile and air strikes targeting the entire territory of Ukraine remain highly likely.

Russian troops continue to focus their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Marinka axes, where over 20 combat clashes took place throughout the day.

On the Volyn and Polissia axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly. There were no signs of any offensive groups being formed.

The aggressor forces maintain their military presence in the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, and continues sabotage and reconnaissance activities in the areas bordering Ukraine.

Yesterday, the Russians made an unsuccessful attempt to infiltrate a sabotage and reconnaissance group across the state border of Ukraine in the area of Rodionivka in Sumy region. The enemy suffered losses and retreated.

Also, the aggressor carried out mortar and artillery attacks on the settlements of Hremiachka and Tymonovichi in Chernihiv region; Khodyne, Malushyne, Kozache, Vorozhba, Iskriskivshchyna, Pavlivka, and Katerynivka in Sumy region, as well as Udy, Veterynarne, Hraniv, Kozacha Lopan, Krasne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Bochkove, Okhrimivka, Mykolaivka, Nesterne, Budarky, Kruhle, Zemlianki, Vilkhuvatka, Chuhunivka, Hryhorivka, and Odradne in Kharkiv region.

Kolodiazne, Krasne Pershe, Fiholivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masiutivka, Kislivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv region were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks by Russian troops in the Kupiansk direction.

In the Lyman direction, the aggressor carried out unsuccessful offensive operations toward Rozdolivka. Nevske and Biloghrivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Spirne, and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region were hit by artillery fire.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Hryhorivka and Minskivka districts of Donetsk region. An airstrike hit the area near Sukha Balka in Donetsk region. Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, and New York in Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy launched an air strike. Russian artillery also hit the areas of Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodiane, Karlivka, and Pervomaiske.

In the Marinka direction, the Russian army carried out offensive actions with no gains achieved. The aggressor also carried out an airstrike near Krasnohorivka. At the same time, Russian artillery shelled Hostre, Heorhiyivka, and Marinka in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarske axis, the enemy launched airstrikes in the areas of Prechystivka and Blahodatne. In addition, they shelled Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Storozheve, Makarivka, Novosilka, and Novopil in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the Russian army is focusing its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops. The Russians unsuccessfully tried to restore the previously lost position in the Novodarivka area in Zaporizhzhia region.

In addition, enemy artillery shelling about 30 settlements, including Temyrivka, Novodarivka, Levadne, Olhivske, Malynivka, Zeleny Hay, Zatyshchia, and Huliaipole in Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region; Mylovo, Beryslav, Kozatske, Lvove, Mykilske, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Kherson, and Dniprovske in Kherson region, as well as Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region.
