Russia’s attack on Kyiv: Rescue operation in house hit by missile fragments ends

The Ukrainian State Emergency Service has completed emergency and rescue works in a high-rise residential building in Ukraine’s capital city, which was hit by the fragments of the downed Russian missile on the night of June 24, 2023.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Head of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service Serhiy Kruk, rescuers managed to evacuate 24 people. Unfortunately, five civilians were reported killed.
A reminder that, around 03:00 a.m., June 24, 2023, the fragments of the downed Russian missile crashed into a 25-storey apartment block in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district. Construction structures were partially destroyed from floor 16 to floor 19.
