Territorial defense members destroy Russian Murom-M video surveillance system
"Hitting Murom-M system, the UAV crew of the 103rd Brigade gave the Armed Forces of Ukraine an advantage over the enemy. After all, this significantly reduces the enemy's ability to visually control the actions of our units. We create conditions for more covert movement and advancement towards liberating our native land," the Brigade posted on Telegram.
As noted, this system is designed for long-distance visual surveillance, equipped with a thermal imager and a camera with a zoom option. It can operate independently of other systems from tall objects such as elevators, towers or be placed on tall masts in an open field. Its capabilities include detecting a person at a distance of up to 10 km using a conventional camera and up to 4 km using a thermal imager. It can detect equipment in the dark at a distance of up to 8 km and adjust fire.
As reported, according to Deputy Minister of Defense Hanna Maliar, Ukrainian troops began counteroffensive operations in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Yahidne, Klishchiyivka, and Kurdiumivka in the east at the end of last week and advanced 1 to 2 km in each direction.
