Eight killed, 60 injured in Russia’s missile attack on Kramatorsk – Prosecutor General’s Office

Law enforcement officers have launched an investigation into Russia’s attack on the Donetsk region’s Kramatorsk with two Iskander missiles, which took place on the evening of June 27, 2023.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Eight killed and 60 injured. These are the consequences of the double missile attack on Kramatorsk the day before. Three teenage girls are among those killed – one of them was 17 years old, and two sisters aged 14,” Kostin wrote.

Rescue works are underway. People may be still trapped under the rubble.

“Two Iskander missiles were fired in the evening, as people just came back home after work. Russia’s criminal regime continues the tactics of causing terror against peaceful Ukrainians,” Kostin stressed.

A reminder that, on the evening of June 27, 2023, Russian troops launched two missile strikes on the Donetsk region’s Kramatorsk. One enemy projectile hit a restaurant in the city center, and the other struck the village of Bilenke.
