Woman dies in Kherson region as result of shelling

The press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"According to the investigation, on June 29, 2023, at about 07:20 am, the Russian military fired artillery at the Bilozerska community of the Kherson region. As a result of the enemy's attack, a local resident who was in the yard of her home sustained severe head injuries incompatible with life," the statement said.

Another resident was reportedly injured. The debris damaged private houses and outbuildings.

Under the procedural supervision of the Oleshky District Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation was initiated into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 28, three people were injured in the Kherson region as a result of Russian shelling.
