Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev, the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, stated that there is currently no direct threat from Belarus and Russia. However, if the level of threat rises, the build-up of forces is foreseen.

"Right now, there is no direct threat of offensive operations of ground forces to Ukraine from Belarus and Russia in the area of responsibility of the Group of Troops ‘North’. However, if the level of threat rises, the build-up of forces and means, as well as other practical measures to boost the Group's defensive capabilities, are foreseen," Nayev said, the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Telegram.

According to him, intelligence agents keep obtaining information. In addition, the Armed Forces of Ukraine exchange information with foreign partners every day.

"We are aware of the information we have, but we don't waste time. This means that all military personnel in the Operational Zone ‘North’, without exception, professionally perform the tasks assigned to them," Nayev stressed.

In its turn, the command is gradually increasing defense capabilities and taking measures to improve personnel training.

"The personnel is coordinated, and the commanders know how to properly manage subordinates and how to act in case of necessary reinforcement," Nayev emphasized.

As reported, on June 30, President Volodymyr Zelensky held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief regarding the situation at the front and threats from Belarus.
