Air defense units destroy all enemy targets in Kyiv’s airspace

On the night of July 2, 2023, Ukraine’s air defense units detected and destroyed all enemy targets in the airspace around the city of Kyiv.
The relevant statement was made by Kyiv City Military Administration on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Another air attack on Kyiv. This time the enemy has used unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). According to the preliminary data, they were Shahed loitering munitions,” Kyiv City Military Administration Head Serhii Popko noted.
In his words, it has been Russia’s first drone attack on Kyiv since early July and in the past 12 days.
According to Popko, all enemy targets in Kyiv’s airspace were neutralized. No casualties or the damage caused have been reported so far. The final data are yet to be updated.
