One person killed, 16 more injured in Russia’s drone attack in Sumy
The Sumy Regional Military Administration wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“Today at 10:49, the center of Sumy was hit four times with Shahed 136-type UAVs. As a result of the attack, an administrative building and two apartment blocks were damaged,” the report says.
As of 13:00, 16 people were injured, one person was killed, according to preliminary information. The assistance was provided to those injured.
According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, the work on the evacuation of the population and liquidation of the aftermath of the fire continues.
Places of temporary stay have been provided to the affected population. The issue of their accommodation is being solved.
Medical and psychological assistance is provided.
As reported by Ukrinform, Sumy was attacked by Iranian-made Shahed-136 drones on the morning of July 3.
