Four people injured in nighttime shelling of Kharkiv region

Four people were injured in a Russian shelling of Kharkiv region last night.

The press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"According to the investigation, on the night of July 5, the Russian military launched a missile attack on the town of Bilyi Kolodiaz, Chuhuiv district. Two civilian men aged 45 and 37 were wounded. The occupiers also shelled the city of Vovchansk at night: a school was damaged," the report says.

In addition, Russian strikes injured a 48-year-old woman in the village of Kozacha Lopan on July 5, at around 02:00. She was hospitalized.

On July 4, at around 21:50, a 58-year-old woman was injured in enemy shelling of the village of Kurylivka. According to preliminary data, the enemy likely used artillery. In the village of Monchanivka, residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged.

On July 4, at around 20:00, the Russian military shelled the village of Udy. Residential buildings and a car were damaged.

Pre-trial investigations have been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported, settlements in Kharkiv region, close to the front line and the border with the Russian Federation, are subjected to enemy shelling every day. Battles are ongoing in Kupiansk district, while 29 settlements remain under the temporary control of the Russian forces.
