Russia must immediately cease actions endangering safety of nuclear facilities in Ukraine - EU
This is said in a statement made by the European Union at a meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security and Co-operation in Vienna, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Russia must also immediately cease actions endangering the safety and security of nuclear facilities in Ukraine. The European Union fully supports the work of the International Atomic Energy Agency in this respect,” the statement says.
The EU also condemned “Russia’s irresponsible nuclear rhetoric and its announced deployment of nuclear weapons to Belarus.”
“We call on the Belarusian authorities to put an immediate end to their support of Russia’s war,” the statement says.
The EU again called on Russia “to stop its war of aggression and to immediately, completely and unconditionally withdraw all its troops and military equipment from the entire territory of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders.”
As reported by Ukrinform, on June 22, 2023, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Russia was planning to stage a terrorist attack at the occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP.
