Russians place machine-gun nests on roofs of power units at Zaporizhzhia NPP – Energoatom
The relevant statement was made by Energoatom National Nuclear Energy Generating Company of Ukraine President Petro Kotin during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We know that machine-gun nests have been placed on the roofs of several power units. The new images may also indicate that there may be explosives on the roofs. Of course, considering the quality of the photo, it is impossible to say exactly what is there,” Kotin told.
In his words, the man-made disaster at Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant (HPP), which was caused by Russian troops, makes one think that the occupiers may do the same thing at Zaporizhzhia NPP.
A reminder that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned earlier that Russia had finished technical preparations for a local explosion at Zaporizhzhia NPP in order to stop Ukraine’s counteroffensive actions and put political pressure on Kyiv through some partners.
