Russians make attempts to seize Marinka: Eight enemy attacks repelled last night
The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Joint Press Center of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the Tavria direction Valerii Shershen during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In general, the enemy opened fire 586 times in the Tavria direction; attacked our positions 23 times,” Shershen told.
In his words, 47 Russian military equipment units were destroyed, namely six tanks, four guns, two self-propelled artillery systems, one Buk surface-to-air missile system, two electronic warfare systems, and motor vehicles.
In the Avdiivka direction, the Ukrainian military are holding back Russia’s offensive and repelling attacks by the assault units trying to seize Marinka. Last night the enemy launched eight attacks on Marinka.
In the south of the Zaporizhzhia region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have detailed plans to continue offensive actions.
According to Shershen, the strike units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are gaining foothold within the captured frontiers and demining routes. Ukrainian warriors continue launching strikes on enemy troops and carrying out offensive actions. Over the past day, Ukrainian artillery units have completed 1,293 fire missions.
