Six killed, five injured in Russia’s shelling of Lyman

Six civilians have been killed and five injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region’s Lyman.
The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“At least six people were killed and five injured as Russian terrorist troops opened fire on Lyman,” Kyrylenko wrote.
In his words, Russians attacked the Donetsk region’s Lyman with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) around 10:00 a.m., July 8, 2023. The enemy projectiles hit the detached house suburbs. A house and a shop were damaged.
The police are working at the scene. Medics are providing necessary aid to those affected.
A reminder that, on July 7, 2023, five civilians were injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region.
