Russian military death toll in Ukraine rises to about 234,040
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Between February 24, 2022 and July 9, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses included also 4,078 tanks (+4 over the past day), 7,964 armored fighting vehicles (+11), 4,366 artillery systems (+20), 668 multiple launch rocket systems (+7), 413 anti-aircraft warfare systems (+3), 315 aircraft, 309 helicopters, 6,929 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+15), 18 warships/boats, 3,685 unmanned aerial vehicles (+19), 628 special equipment units (+9). A total of 1,271 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.

A reminder that, on July 8, 2023, Ukraine’s missile and artillery units hit 11 Russian artillery systems in firing position, as well as two electronic warfare systems and other important targets.
