Ihnat confirms Russians attacked Mykolaiv with Iskander-M missile last night

On the night of July 10, 2023, Russian invaders struck the city of Mykolaiv with the Iskander-M ballistic missile.
The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yurii Ihnat during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The Iskander-M ballistic missile was used. The enemy attacks very unexpectedly,” Ihnat said, adding that these missiles are very fast, and there is very little time to react.
According to Ihnat, certain air defense systems are needed to counter ballistic missile threats, for example the Patriot.
A reminder that, around 01:00 a.m., July 10, 2023, Russians launched a missile strike on an infrastructure object in the city of Mykolaiv.
