Klymenko introduces new National Guard commander

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko introduced new commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, according to Ukrinform.
Klymenko noted that the new head of the National Guard should focus on the formation of the "Offensive Guard" brigades and the effective use of already formed units.
He wished the new commander good luck and strength.
In turn, Pivnenko said: "The main direction of work is the training of the ‘Offensive Guard’. Currently, this is the main task of our country, so that the units can carry out their tasks in full, in order to de-occupy our territories as soon as possible."
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 8, President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed combat officer, Hero of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko as the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine.
