French President Emmanuel Macron said on the first day of the NATO Summit that France will send Ukraine long-range SCALP missiles, which are analogous to the British Storm Shadow.

That's according to BFM TV, Ukrinform reports.

"We decided to provide Ukraine with new missiles capable of striking deep into the rear," Macron said.

He also added that it is important to send a message of support for Ukraine and NATO unity.

The SCALP missile is a French version of the British Storm Shadow, which London has already delivered to Kyiv.
