Special operations forces destroy boat with invaders on Dnipro island

The Command of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted the report on Facebook.

During the aerial reconnaissance of one of the islands on the Dnipro River, special forces soldiers discovered enemy positions and an unknown object that significantly impaired the drone's operation.

They decided to advance to that area, destroy the enemy's personnel and subsequently take control of the said island.

After detailed planning, the soldiers of the 73rd Special Forces Maritime Center advanced at night on two boats to the area of the island. At dawn, the defenders assaulted the positions of the occupiers.

The work of the assault group was completed by FPV drone operators.

"As a result of the operation, one enemy boat was destroyed and another was damaged. In addition, five occupiers were neutralized: one was killed, and four were wounded," the Special Operations Forces reported.
