War update: Ukraine’s Air Force launches 13 strikes on enemy clusters

This is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published on Facebook.

"At night, the Russian Federation launched another attack on Ukraine using Shahed-136/131 Iranian combat drones and anti-aircraft guided missiles. Information about the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified. Over the past day, the Russian invaders struck the territory of Ukraine, using 17 Iranian-made Shahed drones and a S-300 missile. As a result of the successful combat operation of the defense forces of Ukraine, 16 Shahed drones were destroyed,” the report reads.

In addition, the enemy launched 50 airstrikes and 43 MLRS attacks.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Maryinka directions. Over the past day, 32 combat engagements took place.

In Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation has not changed significantly.

In Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna directions, the enemy launched an airstrike in the area of Radkivka in Sumy region, shelled more than 15 settlements with mortars and artillery, including Karpovychi and Kamin in Chernihiv region; Bilokopytove Malushyne, Boyaro-Lezhachi in Sumy region; Kozacha Lopan, Neskuchne, Morokhovets, Ternova in Kharkiv region.

In Kupyansk direction, our soldiers hold the defense firmly. Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kamyanka, Kyslivka, Berestove, Fyholivka in Kharkiv region came under enemy artillery and mortar fire.

In Lyman direction, over the past day, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensives west of Dibrova, Luhansk region, and east of Novosadove, Donetsk region. Airstrikes were launched near Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Spirne, Fedorivka, Vesele in Donetsk region.

More than 15 settlements, including Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region; Torske, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region were with artillery.

In Bakhmut direction, the defense forces successfully repelled all attacks in Berkhivka area in Donetsk region under heavy enemy aircraft and artillery fire. The invaders launched airstrikes near Stupochky and Dyliyivka. More than 15 settlements, including Druzhba, Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Dyliyivka, Pivnichne, and Pivdenne in Donetsk region, were hit with artillery.

In Avdiyivka direction, the Russian invaders carried out unsuccessful offensive operations near Pervomayske in Donetsk region and launched airstrikes near Avdiyivka and Pervomayske. More than 10 settlements were shelled with artillery, including Berdychi, Lastochkyne, and Avdiyivka in Donetsk region.

In Maryinka direction, the defense forces continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in Maryinka area. The enemy also hit more than 15 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, Pobieda, and Heorhiyivka in Donetsk region.

In Shakhtarske direction, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Novomykhaylivka in Donetsk region, shelling Paraskoviyivka, Novomykhaylivka, Novoukrayinka, Makarivka, Blahodatne, and Bohoyavlenka.

In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army focuses its main efforts on preventing the further advance of the Ukrainian troops. From the air, the invaders attacked the area of Mala Tokmachka, Zaporizhzhia region; Hrozove and Kozatske, Kherson region. More than 25 settlements came under enemy artillery fire, including Vilne Pole, Mala Tokmachka, Huliaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya in Zaporizhzhia region; Kherson, Antonivka, Tiahynka, Chornobayivka, Mykilske, Kizomys in Kherson region. At the same time, the defense forces of Ukraine continue to conduct offensive operations in Melitopol and Berdiansk directions. They gain a foothold on the achieved frontiers, inflict fire damage with artillery on identified enemy targets, carry out counter-battery fight.

Ukraine’s Air Force launched a total of 13 strikes on enemy personnel concentration areas and another one on its anti-aircraft missile system over the past day. Missile and artillery units hit nine artillery systems on firing positions.
