Ukraine’s Defense Forces advance more than one kilometer in Berdiansk sector

In the Berdiansk direction, Ukrainian forces have advanced more than one kilometer in one of sections.
The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Joint Press Center of Ukraine’s Defense Forces in the Tavria direction Valerii Shershen during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“In the Melitopol direction, the situation remained unchanged. Meanwhile, in the Berdiansk direction, we have advanced more than one kilometer deep into the enemy’s defense along a certain front line,” Shershen told.
In his words, heavy confrontations and maneuvers are now underway. Strike units are gaining foothold within the re-captured frontiers, conducting aerial reconnaissance, inflicting fire damage on the enemy, carrying out demining works and counterbattery activities.
