Air defense, ammo and armor: Reznikov sums up results of Ramstein-14 meeting
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Reznikov, the main priority is the supply of weapons and equipment urgently required for the liberation of Ukraine’s territory. Air defense, ammunition and armor are in focus.
Reznikov thanked Luxembourgish Defence Minister François Bausch and Estonian Defence Minister Hanno Pevkur “for presenting concrete steps for the development of an IT coalition”, as well as Lithuanian National Defence Minister Arvydas Anušauskas and all Ukraine’s friends “for the initiative to create a demining coalition”.
“Special thanks to a great friend of Ukraine and my dear friend, U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, for leading an unprecedented coalition against evil. Together, we are working hard to achieve victory, a just peace and a better future,” Reznikov stressed.
A reminder that the preparation of practical F-16 training for Ukrainian pilots was one of the main topics of the 14th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, which took place on July 18, 2023.
